Art reflections: My Painting journey so far

Hello! Welcome back to my blog page and a very Happy New Year to you :)

January is already here with new goals and raising hopes that this year will be even better than the last one.

Happy and excited, I am letting you in on my life through a splash of colors. here, I share with you my understanding of art, the creative process I follow, the different mediums I use for work, my art inspirations, and where to find my work.

Being creatively inclined, I finally had my time for art. It is my third year as a visual artist & here is what I have gathered so far in this journey of mine.

What is visual art for me?

It has been a medium for my self-discovery and healing. Life is making a lot more sense being an artist. My observation of things has improved by leaps. Painting helps me find joy in everyday life. I can express all I want to say without uttering a thing. Even small things become special. It's like art finds me through everything that is around

What is my creative process?

I believe art is devoid of any rules and processes.

It is an expression of free thoughts and emotions. Ones the subject is final, I create variations of it with my experience and memories of it. I work with Acrylic mediums and Watercolors for my creations and to teach students.

What are my art inspirations?

I draw inspiration from life and its happenings, My experiences with different people, my travels, and my surroundings to narrate a story with my art.

I like to bring a minimalistic approach to my work. Easy on the eyes and the mind :) Nature and serenity also influence my artwork.
